Weekend at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Yet another garden for kids is the Titiwangsa Lake garden or Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. It is located here This place is not only favoured by kids, adults love it equally.

This one too has a huge lake in the middle of the park. You can see a lot of people jogging, cycling, skating (there is a separate area for that). I once even saw someone riding a horse cart but couldnt find out about it. Sometimes during holidays, you can see food stalls set up in the other end. You get a wonderful view of the KLCC area from the park… It is located very close to Istana Budaya, haven’t had a chance to go in there yet 🙁 Leaving you with some pictures.

On the other side of the lake, you have the play area, and some water based activities – boating, roller water ball etc.

There are a lot of activities you can do here, you could rent hoverboards, bicycles for both kids and adults, bubble guns and so many more interesting stuff. It keeps changing every week and you can find interesting stuff especially during school holidays. So head over there and have fun!

  1. This looks like fun! I’ve never heard much about traveling in Kuala Lumpur so your photos are really interesting–it looks so western but has more fun activities like water roller ball. Have you done that before? I always wanted to try but I’ve only seen the roller ball thing done on land!

    1. Yes yes… picnics are very common here in Malaysia and so glad that the govt is actually promoting such activities.

  2. Looks like a good place to escape to over weekend. 😀 I have visited KL few times but never thought of visiting the parks. Should try one at least on my next visit. 🙂
